Councillor Jim Bollan – News reaches me today that the SNP Council have supported the Health & Social Care Partnership’s decision to spend £400,000 on employing “Change Managers” to “redesign” all the care services. This is the H&SCP that recently increased the charge for the emergency Alert Alarm System by 100% and also increased Daycare charges again for vulnerable people by 60%. In my experience “redesign of services” has always meant more job cuts, and cuts to internal budgets resulting in an inferior service. “Redesigning Services” is the first step to Privatisation.
