ERSKINE RESIDENT NETTIE CELEBRATES A CENTURY

Erskine Park Home resident celebrates 100th Birthday, Janet (known as Nettie), enjoyed birthday cake with other residents within the home in the sun room (with social distancing in place) while four members of her family, daughter Janette McGee & son William McSherry with grand daughters Tracy Anderson & Janet Sloan were be outside the home to see their mother/grandmother on her special birthday. nettieToday resident of Erskine Park Home, Janet McSherry, celebrates her 100th Birthday. Janet (known as Nettie), will enjoy birthday cake with other residents within the home  in the sun room (with social distancing in place) while four members of her family will be outside the home to see their mother/grandmother on her special birthday.Staff at Erskine Park Home in Bishopton have arranged for a bagpiper to play outside when her family visit.  “Everyone at Erskine Park is looking forward to celebrating Nettie’s 100 birthday.  It will not only be special for Nettie and her family but also for the home as she is the first ever resident to celebrate such a momentous birthday with us.”  Nettie, from Erskine, moved into Erskine Park Home in November 2019.  Her late husband served with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.  Photographer James Williamson
