My name is Christina, I’m 16 and live in London.
For 1.4 million children in the UK, free school meals are the difference between whether kids eat or not.
But our voices are being ignored by the government who have voted to abandon us and not extend this vital support through October half term.
For too many that will mean no nutritious healthy food at all.
Please help make sure this does not happen again over Christmas by signing my petition.
Boris Johnson took steps to make sure young people could get a decent lunch while schools were closed over the Easter holidays, May half-term and last summer. And millions of families benefited. This is not the time to take that support away.
