As the number of people in West Dunbartonshire contracting covid 19 continues to increase exponentially, the local health board would like to remind people attending hospitals or using our services to continue to follow COVID-19 guidelines.
Should you need to attend a hospital, you must:
- Wear a face covering or mask at all times, unless you are exempt. If you are exempt please make this clear to hospital staff.
- Avoid congregating and respect social distancing measures at all times, we ask that you continue to follow two metre social distancing rules when at any of our facilities.
- Use hand sanitising stations before entering and leaving our sites.
If you are unwell, or if you have been deemed to be a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19 and have been advised to self-isolate or have to self-isolation for another reason (e.g travelling from a country requiring quarantine), do not go to hospital. Should you require medical assistance that is not life threatening dial 111. In the event of emergency always dial 999.
