We are delighted to have received funding from the STUC’s Fair Work: Leadership and Equality programme to train new, upcoming voices in the trade union movement. Sessions will explain all the technical details of meetings, minutes and motions but will also give training in equality, inclusion, and effective decision making.
Whether you are new to journalism or an old hand, you have something to offer and something to gain.
John Toner, National Organiser Scotland, said, “The NUJ was created by working journalists and the active involvement of working journalists in the union’s democracy is vital to its continued existence.
“The Branch is the forum for every member’s voice to be heard. Every member of a Branch can attend meetings. If they are full members they can vote on important issues.”
Places are limited and, if you wish to have an input into the future of your union, please contact joanm@nuj.org.uk for further information.
