Food For Thought has been ordered to pay the cash to former full-time project co-ordinator Caroline Marsland after she took the charity, based in St Augustine’s Scottish Episcopal Church in Dumbarton High Street, to an employment tribunal over her dismissal in 2019.
She claimed she lost her job for raising concerns about a married priest having a relationship with a ‘vulnerable’ member of his congregation, identified during the tribunal as ‘AB’.
The clergyman told a journalist the allegation was “seriously untrue”.
