There will be free parking at all Helensburgh’s council-run car parks in the run-up to Christmas, it was announced this week.
There will be no charges from December 11 to 24 inclusive.
Andrew Kain, right, the council’s policy lead for roads and transport, said: “Our local independent businesses play a key role in supporting the local economy.
“By providing free parking, we hope residents will continue to show their support for local businesses and keep spending local.”
