Marie Scullion Digby, who died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 25, 2023, was a well known Dumbarton school teacher. Her parents were the late John and Anastasia Russell Scullion, of Judemar, Oxhill, Dumbarton. Marie, who was a much loved mother, sister and auntie, is survived by her son, Paul, his wife, Laura, and their children, Freya, Orla and Noah, and by her brothers and sisters, Nicholas, Rodger, Damian, Rosamond, Bernadette and Josephine and by her many friends in the teaching profession. She was predeased by her brother Ian in Australia. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Church, Dumbarton, on Wednesday, March 13, at 10am and final commital will take place thereafter at Cardross Crematorium.
