The Ministry of Defence Police joined counter-terrorism ports officers while they patrolled the River Clyde and Clyde Estuaries as part of #MaritimeControlWeek
Ministry of Defence police armed to the teeth with hand guns and sub machine guns is exactly what we want on the Clyde.
Didn’t know that they had a right to operate, as the picture shows, in the Glasgow city centre. But of course the Ministry of Defence police, who are separate from Police Scotland already operate all over the peninsula, and of course, Navy Military police already go on patrols of the pubs in Helensburgh.
The military on the streets is what we want. Who needs the civilian police!
