A familiar face is going to be missing from the check-out next time you call in to the M&S supermarket at St James Retail Estate in Dumbarton.
Photographer John Young, who is an old newspaper hand at the Herald&Times in Glasgow and the Helensburgh Advertiser tells us that today is his wife Kirstine‘s last day at M&S.
She is retiring 28 years after taking a 10 week temporary job to help us out financially back in Christmas 1996.
John tells us: “Those who know her know that she is diligent, hard working and caring. However she now deserves more time to be spent on herself and the family.”
The Cardross couple’s daughter, Kimberley, popped into the store this morning to see her Mum working there for the last time. Enjoy your retirement Kirstine you so deserve to.
