Lomond School

The Lomond Helensburgh U15s rugby team – joined by a fantastic group of parents, supporters, and siblings – took on the Tough Mudder 5K challenge in South Queensferry.
The course featured icy water, steep climbs, deep mud, and even a few electric shocks – but every single member of the team rose to the occasion. From tackling the Mudderhorn to enduring Brain Freeze and a “shocking” finish, the boys showed real determination, resilience, and incredible teamwork throughout.
It was brilliant to see not only the players supporting one another, but also helping their parents over the obstacles – a true demonstration of camaraderie and character that has grown throughout this season.
A special thanks to Mr Fulton and parent volunteers Carl, John, and Louise, whose organisation, encouragement, and energy helped make the day such a success.
This event was a fantastic way to celebrate the progress these young athletes have made this season. Now, with muddy kit and proud smiles, they look ahead to the next chapter: U16s rugby.
