Pam Gosal MSP writes: On to the final day of my summer engagement surgery tour, I held an extremely productive advice surgery at Kilmaronock Millenium Hall in Gartocharn.
It was invaluable to be at the heart of the community, engaging with residents and hearing their diverse perspectives on local issues including good local employment, NHS waiting times, infrastructure improvement in particular the A82, and local decision making being centralised to the Scottish Government.
Another key topic of discussion was the proposed Flamingo land development at Loch Lomond that will have a direct impact on the community, with residents sharing various views.
I would also like to give a special mention to the volunteers, who bake the most amazing cakes and keep the popular coffee morning running smoothly and provide fantastic customer service.
