HARP 7s TOURNAMENT FOR WEST DUNBARTONSHIRE FOODBANK A great day yesterday @ Dumbarton East for a great cause. Thanks to everyone who took part, attended on the day and helped to organise. Thanks in particular to our 2 main sponsors: ALGAS & KM LAW. Thanks to them covering some of our overheads we will be able to donate over £1000 to the foodbank as well as the bags of food handed in on the day. That will go a long way so thanks to all again.
The football was of a very high standard, plenty of drama including penalty shoot outs and meaty tackles. Over 130 players took park but the Popes/Martyrs beat St. Pat’s 4-1 in a brilliant final. The best team won in the end, deserved winners. Congratulations to Dom McElroy on winning Player Of The Tournament, the white Cafu rolled back the years and was outstanding in every match.
