UNISON local government members have voted by 83% to accept COSLA’s revised two-year pay offer.
The deal includes a 4% pay rise from April 2025 and a further 3.5% from April 2026. All agreed allowances will rise in line with the pay award, apart from the Distant Isles and First Aid allowances, which are negotiated separately.
“This result follows a period of negotiation and pressure — but it’s the members who made the final decision. Thanks to everyone who voted,” A Unison spokesperson said.
