Officers from Dumbarton Road Policing, National Motorcycle Unit and Helensburgh local Policing engaged in a road safety check site on the A814 near to Rhu on the 28th of October. Over 30 vehicles were stopped and around 20 drivers subject to an eyesight test, all of whom passed. A number of fixed penalties were issued for road traffic offences such as tyre and parts defects and MOT, and several warnings issued for defective lights. #IsYourVisionRoadworthy #DriveSmart
