COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP TRAINING – 19 & 26 NOVEMBER 2025 (9.30am-1pm) Both days
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE PART OF CREATING A BETTER WORKPLACE CULTURE?
DO YOU WANT TO BE THE SOLUTION NOT THE PROBLEM?
The course looks at team building; the fundamental qualities of leadership; the importance of listening skills and empathy; and the “iceberg model” of behaviour which explains underlying causes of behaviour. Whether you are already in a promoted leadership post, or aspire to hold one in the future, this course gives you key concepts to build a better, more effective and harmonious workplace. It also shows ways to effect change even when you are not in a position of power.
The course will take place over two weeks, via Zoom, on the 19th and 26th of November from 9.30am-1pm both days. It is funded by the Scottish Government, through Scottish Union Learning, and is free to attend. If you would like to book a place, please contact Catherine Deveney as soon as possible at cdev2112@aol.com

The NUJ is delighted to announce that Alan Spence will be the guest speaker at this year’s Virtual Book Club to celebrate Book Week Scotland. To get a rough idea of numbers, it would be useful if you could register interest by emailing a line with your name to cdev2112@aol.com, but the Zoom link for the session is below and you can just turn up on the night if you find you are able to join.
