On BBC News tonight there is a report by Steve Rosenberg that Russia has become the most hostile place in the world to be a journalist. Rosenberg obviously hasn’t been to West Dunbartonshire yet where freedom of speech, common courtesy, and democracy are not allowed by the Council. But lies are OK. And using expletives in the council chamber. Plus threats of physical harm from councillors. One after the other. Given what’s happening at present it’s no surprise that the Labour administration support this. So too the SNP, surprisingly. This is defamatory. It’s time they ended this ban.
