Police Scotland’s chief constable is set to receive an above-inflation pay rise that will make her one of the UK’s most highly-paid public servants.
From April 1, Jo Farrell will take home a basic salary of £281,522 – more than £40k higher any other British police chief apart from the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police in London.
