GLENARN GARDENS IN RHU OPENED ON SATURDAY
Visitors can wander through the vibrant, world-class, over 10-acre sheltered woodland gardens with a Himalayan atmosphere, famous for their collection of rhododendrons, tall asiatic magnolias, rock gardens, and rare plants.
Owners Mike and Sue advise that spring flowering is earlier this year, making it an ideal time to explore Glenarn’s winding paths in the Himalayan glen. Discover the rock garden built in an old quarry, the working vegetable gardens with beehives, and the champion trees.
Don’t miss the garden’s summit for a peaceful sanctuary and quiet contemplation over the Gare Loch.
