Buchanan Castle Golf Club
Buchanan Castle Golf Club at Drymen has celebrated its 90th anniversary.
It was a truly special occasion with the Duke of Montrose and the Marquis of Montrose in attendance to help mark the anniversary, blow out the candles, and unveil a stunning new artwork in the clubhouse foyer.
The sunshine arrived right on cue, and the course looked absolutely magnificent for the day’s Texas Scramble competition.
A fantastic turnout of 17 teams took part, with an incredible four teams finishing on a net 54.
Congratulations to our winning team of Stuart Jamieson, Craig Jamieson, Grahame Archibald & Andy Jump, who secured victory on a dramatic six-hole countback. As well as being a brilliant day for the club, the event also raised a fantastic £365 for Men Matter Scotland
A huge thank you goes to our Club Captain and the organising team for making it such a successful and memorable day, and to everyone who came along to celebrate this important moment in the club’s history.
