Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Alexandria.
Around 6.30 pm on Saturday, 16 May 2026, a 37-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown person outside a pub in Main Street, Jamestown.
He was taken to the Vale of Leven Hospital, where he received treatment for a facial injury.
Detective Constable Iain McGill said: “Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident, and we are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
“If you were in the area of Main Street around the time the assault took place and saw what happened, please get in touch to assist with our enquiries.”
