Three further arrests following disorder at Scottish Cup quarter-final

Officers investigating disorder at the Scottish Cup Quarter Final between Rangers and Celtic on Sunday, 8 March 2026, have made three further arrests.

Three men, aged 39, 38 and 28, have been arrested and charged in connection with various offences, including assault, possessing an offensive weapon, culpable and reckless conduct and breach of the peace.

They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in due course.  This brings the total number of arrests to 40.

Officers are continuing to appeal to anyone who believes they recognise the people in the CCTV images to contact police via 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
