Well done to S6 pupils Stuart, Findlay and Daniel for successfully completing the Explorer Belt challenge and pushing themselves physically and mentally to finish the expedition. A major highlight of their journey was reaching their final destination in Santiago, Spain.
The Explorer Belt is the ultimate challenge of self-reliance and adventure for young people in Scouting. It requires participants to travel abroad and complete a minimum 10-day, 50-hour trek, planning their own route, interacting with local communities, completing a major project of their choice, and finding their own accommodation along the way.
