Luss Games takes place today (Saturday) at 11am
Luss Highland Games will take place in the Loch Lomondside village today (Saturday).
They will be officially opened by the Chieftain, Patrick Colquhoun, of the Clan Colquhoun, around 11am and the weather promises to be exceptional.
The Dumbarton Democrat will be there and editor Bill Heaney will be in the Clan Shop to do a signing for his latest book, Two Minutes Silence, which look in many chapters at the social history of Luss and the Colquhouns.
There are stories about Glen Fruin, the Highland Clearances, connections with personalities from President’s widow Jackie Kennedy to film star Eddie Redmayne and many others in the book which will illustrated with photographs old and new.
