Tomorrow sees us showing advance screenings of  MISSION:IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT. The latest version (number 6 in the series) has been rated as one of the best by the previewers. Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and the action is fast, furious and fun as he saves the world .. again. The official premier is on Friday.

MAMMA MIA! HERE WILL GO AGAIN opened last Friday with sold out shows and lots of fun for everyone who attended the ‘Red Carpet’ opening at The Tower. With Facebook feedback on our site raving about the film alot of folk will go again.  The film has great music (as expected) lots of laughs and few surprise tissue moments. This film will run in Helensburgh everyday for the next few weeks.  INCREDIBLES 2  continues to draw families and everybody is loving it. Lots of parenting messages and strong female role modelling in this clever picture from Pixar.   Both screenings on Andre Rieu’s ‘Tribute to Love’ is streaming live from his 2018 Maastricht series have SOLD OUT.

CLIFF, QUEEN, WHITNEY and ELVIS events are all coming to Helensburgh and are on sale now. These events are single screenings and could well sell out out so plan ahead.

We also have some more live on stage events open for sale. BLUESWATER are back in October and Norway’s best Jazz trio are visiting Helensburgh for one Scottish concert (they normally play Edinburgh when they come to Scotland). As live Jazz goes THE TORD GUSTAVSTEN TRIO is top drawer. If you like Jazz you’ll love this event. We are about to start advertising the show in Glasgow and Edinburgh so jump in and reserve a ticket before it sells out.

The Submarine Centre’s main exhibition runs 6 days a week 10 to 4 (closed 1 to 2pm for lunch) is called X51 – STICKLEBACK is getting great feedback and is delighting audiences every day. The exhibition which is on a 45 minute loop tells the tale of X51 (the last of the x boats) and explains how the submarine works, using state of the art 360 video and object mapping. Admission is £5 for adults and is free for under 16’s. Twice a week (Sundays and Friday) the centre plays host to The Beatles: YELLOW SUBMARINE. These screenings are to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the film and Helensburgh is the only place in the world where you can see this animated masterpiece, singalong with some of the Beatles’finest tunes while sitting under a submarine.
