Spent about 3 years there from 1942 to 1945 after we were bombed out in the Clydebank Blitz in 1941….Played for a school team on that soccer field a few times…I got the strap from the headmaster Mr Mulgrew for throwing a knife at the wooden bathroom fence…they were at the part next to the green grass hill…wee Joe Watters and “Ginger” McLaughlin ?.were two of my teachers.
