He worked hard all his life and enjoyed holidays from time to time in Daniel O’Donnell country in Donegal, Ireland.

Mary was a big fan of Daniel O’Donnell and she and Tony loved his concerts.

The couple’s son, Marco, who is a former pupil of Keil School, Dumbarton, was a member of the Scottish Parliament, where he represented the SNP.

Tony and Mary have two other sons, Gerald and Andrew

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him from calling in at his shops to treat themselves after a night at the Picture House or a night out in High Street.
