Sing along with Sons

Sons Trust are promoting singers to boost attendances at Dumbarton Football Club’s home matches.

Drummer Steven Nelson and the singer is Rachelle Rhienne are their latest “signings”.

Steven plays for a band called Red Hearted Vibrations and Rachelle is a local artist from the Vale who appears on the BBC programme ‘All Together Now’.

She’s s part of the 100 guest singers judging various other singers.

Sons Trust’s  #Platform initiative is a  programme they have for local bands or artists to perform a set pre-match at the C&G Systems Stadium, so that they can promote themselves.

It’s been a successful venture, with many of the acts picking up paid work as a result.

“We are again reaching out to see if there are band/artists out there willing to have a go,” a Sons Trust spokesperson said.
