SWEET SUCCESS POP UP CAFE IN THE CONCORD

I kid you not. I recently paid more than £13 for two coffees and two fruit scones in a cafe. I know,  this should be followed by something out of “Should have gone to Specsavers”, and maybe I should take more care with prices on the menu. I have, however, been gifted with a well-kept secret (Dumbarton is a place where a secret is something you tell one person at a time) and been told about the recently opened Sweet Success Cafe in the Concord Centre. Reports of excellent coffee and delicious home baking have been circulating recently as has the smell of Sweet Success.  It’s an initiative organised by the Alternatives organisation. Big John Duffy is in one of these pictures enjoying the fare. It must be good. John knows a good things when he sees one. Bill Heaney
