NHS WORKFORCE CRISIS DEEPENS AS VACANCY RATE SOARS

The new statistics from ISD Scotland show that in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, there are more than 1,000 vacant nursing and midwifery posts and more than 100 vacant medical and dental consultancy posts as of June 30 2019. The vacancy rates in both of these areas equates to 7.3 per cent.
