Share your experiences of NHS Near Me Have you or someone you care for had a health and care appointment by video call using ‘Near Me’ recently? If so, we’d like to hear about your experience.
Near Me is an online system which allows patients to have video or audio consultations with a healthcare professional from the comfort of their home. It also supports the NHS in maintaining social distancing. Near Me has already been used for thousands of appointments across different services within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
The Patient Experience Public Involvement Team is holding a series of online focus groups to help us understand the best things about Near Me and what we could improve.
Your views and experiences will help us shape how we use Near Me to complement face to face visits and telephone consultations as we consider the future delivery of care.

There will be 3 sessions held on Tuesday 7th July and 2 on Thursday 9th July. The sessions will last up to one hour 30 minutes and be held via Microsoft Teams. They will be limited to 9 people per group. Keeping the groups small will help ensure everyone gets the chance to speak and have their experience heard.
Each focus group will be made up of an informal discussion facilitated by a member of the Patient Experience and Public Involvement team. They will ask the group some questions about their experience of Near Me.
More details about the event can be found on the page above.
