My choice of Beatles song for this songs competition (below) is Hey Jude. Used to love it. Last dance at Arcari’s in Balloch. Do you recognise the two guys who are not the Beatles in the picture above. One of them comes from the Renton, of course. That’s him second left beside Paul McCartney. If you get the name right we’ll transfer a tiny part of that swampland at the old Esso Bowling site into your name in perpetuity where you can build a house overlooking the river.
