Grand weather in Dumbarton today. Sunshine from early morning saw walkers descent on Levengrove Park or simply strolling along the banks of the River Leven. The rise in temperature encouraged people to get out and about during the Covid pandemic, which has seen families stuck in the house obeying the message to stay in and stay safe. If you are one of the many hundreds of people who have made their views known in regard to the wrecks which letter the river then you should contact the Harbour Master, Joyce White at West Dunbartonshire Council, 16 Church Street, Dumbarton, and ask for them to be removed. Why can’t the Council by the way approach the Royal Navy at Faslane and ask them to enter into a joint project which would be greatly appreciated by the community here? Bill Heaney
