RETAIL: Asda Dumbarton colleagues mark two decades of service

Asda Dumbarton has marked its 20th anniversary since first opening its doors, helped by an amazing 23 colleagues who have worked at the store since day one.

Robbie McDonald, General Store Manager, said: “We’re really proud to be celebrating 20 years of Asda in Dumbarton and I would like to thank all our colleagues for their dedication, including 23 colleagues who have been at the store since opening day.

“We would  also like to thank our amazing customers who we’ve also served here for the last 20 years.”

Natalie Black, Customer Service Desk colleague at Asda Dumbarton, said:  “I applied to Asda through a friend and have never looked back. I have worked in a number of departments during my 20 years here and made friends for life.

“I love how we all pull together as a team when we need to. Especially in the last year, I’ve really realised how proud I am to be part of Asda. I hope to last at least another 20 years.”

Fiona McQueen, Cash Office colleague at the store for 20 years, said:  “I’d say that the colleagues really are what makes the store what it is today. No matter what challenges we face, us colleagues are always there to help and support one another.”
