POLICE: Appeal for help to trace man missing from Balloch

Police who appealed for information to trace a 54-year-old missing man from Balloch have announced that the man has been found safe and well.

Joe Feeney was last seen at a house on Clairinsh, Balloch, around 8.30am on Wednesday, 29 September, and was reported missing later that night.

He is described as around 5ft 9in tall, slim build and possibly wearing a dark waterproof jacket.

Joe’s family are concerned for his well-being.

Inspector Morven Sutherland, based in Dumbarton, said: “We’re appealing for anyone who has seen Joe to contact us.

“Our inquiries have established Joe may be in the Uddingston area, but we are keeping an open mind so anyone who has any information should let us know.”

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3195 of 29 September.
