Jackie Baillie was delighted to welcome Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar to the shores of Loch Lomond on Easter Monday as the local election campaign enters its final two and a half weeks.

They met with Helensburgh Central candidate Fiona Howard as well as the West Dunbartonshire candidates ahead of the crucial vote.

Scottish Labour Deputy Leader and Dumbarton constituency MSP Jackie Baillie said: “It was a joy to welcome our leader Anas Sarwar to Loch Lomond on such a sunny day.

“We were lucky to be pictured with Orla the eagle at Loch Lomond Bird of Prey centre and we spoke with local people about their concerns and their desire for change.

“I am very much looking forward to the local election on May 5th when local communities have a chance to make a real difference by voting Scottish Labour.”
