Have your say in who represents your community on Argyll and Bute Council for the next five years, and take time to vote on Polling Day, Thursday 5th May 2022.
Registered voters can vote between 7am and 10pm. Your polling station will be marked on your polling card and there’s also a list online, together with the candidates who are standing at Local Government Election May 2022 Notice of Poll (argyll-bute.gov.uk)
When you vote, make sure your vote counts – mark your ballot paper with numbers.
In this election, voters should use numbers to mark candidates in order of preference. You can mark as many or as few as you like, but your ballot paper needs to show your preference clearly.
Ballot papers that don’t clearly identify the voter’s intentions can’t be counted. Don’t lose your vote – follow the instructions on your ballot paper and in the polling booth and use numbers to make sure your vote counts.
