MUSIC: A NIGHT TO REMEMBER IN WATERFORD

Notable Works is at St Joseph, St Benildus & St Mary’s Parish, Waterford, Ireland

Bernie Heaney’s talented cousins, the O’Beirne family from Waterford in Ireland, scored a major success last night with their debut production of Mass in time of Trial.

Mass in time of trial was written, composed and conducted by Dumbarton woman Bernie’s cousin, Joseph O’Beirne, a retired consultant orthopedic surgeon in Waterford and Kilkenny. Joe is a distinguished physician and Irish  musician of note.

His daughters Kate, an accomplished teacher of music and singing, and Sue Ann, a medical student at Trinity College, Dublin,  were amongst those who took part along with the church choir at St Joseph, St Benildus & St Mary’s Parish.

Later they send this message and “a few snaps” from last night’s concert #massintimeoftrial
based on the hardship the world is going through at this time of crisis. One of them includes Joe and his wife, Ann. Duaghter Kate in the top of the page picture, front row extreme right.
The concert was a great success. Well done all round. You can still donate and also get the full concert online at this link:  https://www.churchservices.tv/…/recordings/E8KxakUFDXp7GJy.
