With thousands of surgical procedures being cancelled in hospitals across the country on Monday I wonder how many folks scheduled to attend the Vale will now have their appointments cancelled.
Maybe the cancellation of a cancer test, or a cancer procedure, or other procedure is a small price to pay to show mourning for Her Majesty. The authorities certainly think so.
In comparison however, I have just been told that a minute’s silence in remembrance is being cancelled at football grounds across Scotland. What’s going on?
