FEELING THE COLD? SPACES TO KEEP WARM THIS WINTER

Come in, come in, it’s nice tae see ye. How’re ye doin’, you’re lookin’ well.
Many people will be struggling this winter due to skyrocketing energy prices, so we’ve put together a list of “Warm Spaces” where you can go for a hot cuppa and a chat, or just to warm up:
Dumbarton:
Ben View Resource Centre – Will provide a hot meal and sweet, Thursday from 5 – 7 pm.
Food for Thought – Free lunch at St Augustine’s Church Hall Wednesdays 11 – 2 pm.
Soup Club – St Augustine’s Church Hall Fridays 12 – 2 pm.
St Patrick’s Church Hall – warm hub every Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, 11 am – 4 pm.
Alexandria:
Dalmonach Community Centre – every Wednesday in November, 12 – 4 pm, a cuppa, biscuit and heat.
Renton Football Club – starts from Thursday, 3rd November, 12 – 4, tea/coffee/wifi/chat.
Balloch:
Doghouse Pub Balloch – will provide locals with free tea, coffee and biscuits.
Glenroy Pub – Will provide soup and free hot drinks to local residents.
St Kessog’s Church Hall, Balloch. Warmth Centre , open to all on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12 noon to 5pm.
Free tea, coffee, juice and biscuits. Games, jigsaws and books available.
Why not come along for a chat or a quiet place.
Whitecrook:
Centre 81 – every Friday afternoon until December the 16th, 12-3 – tea, coffee, soup and a warm space.
Clydebank:
St Andrew’s Church, Kilbowie road – every Wednesday, 10 am- 2 pm. Free Food and hot drinks.
Awestruck Gallery, Clydebank Shopping Centre – Every Thursday/Friday, 12-2. Soup and sandwiches.
Dalmuir:
Dalmuir Barclay Church – Every Wednesday and Friday from 11 – 2, drop in cafe and community pantry.
The Big Disability group – Monday till Friday anytime; pop along for a chat, free tea/ coffee and a warm place.
Old Kilpatrick:
OKFP – Chatty Cafe will be serving food until the 23rd of December.
OKFP – The Food Pantry is open for emergency food. Tuesday 27th, till Friday 30th 12 – 1 pm.
