POPPY SCOTLAND LAUNCHES AT HM NAVAL BASE CLYDE MILITARY and Civilian personnel at HM Naval Base Clyde came together on Tuesday, November 1, to help launch the 2022 Poppy Scotland Appeal. The first poppies went on sale within the Naval Base’s HMS Neptune Supermess with base workers lining up to support the launch. Around four million poppies are distributed around Scotland by 10,000 volunteers each year. Money raised provides tailored support and funding to thousands of servicemen and women, as well as other vital services on advice, employment, mobility, respite, housing and mental health support.

Remembrance Services will be held across West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute on Sunday, 13 November. Details of the times and places for the events:
10.45 am Clydebank
Service in Clydebank Town Hall followed by Wreath Laying Ceremony at memorial on Hall Street, Clydebank. The Parade will leave Hume Street, Clydebank at approximately 10.30 am. Ex-Service Personnel are most welcome to participate in the Parade. Following the Service, refreshments will be available in the Clydebank Town Hall, Dumbarton Road, Clydebank.
All members of the public are most welcome to attend.

10.40 am Old Kilpatrick
Service at the Cenotaph at Glen Lusset, Old Kilpatrick
11.00 am Bowling
Service will be held at the War Memorial in Bowling Park
11.15 am Milton
Service will be held at the War Memorial in the schoolyard of the former Milton Primary School
12 noon Duntocher
Service at the War Memorial on Roman Road, Duntocher
12.30 pm Renton
Service at the Cenotaph beside Renton Primary School and Tobias Smollett monument
3.00 pm Christie Park, Alexandria
