Alan, widely known as Elky, was a stalwart of local football at all levels, especially at Balloch Juveniles where he served throughout their existence. Alan was an extremely popular groundsman during his time with Dumbarton and was well respected by all at the club. The thoughts of all at Dumbarton FC are with Alan’s family and friends at this extremely sad time.
