Glasgow City Council are tightening parking enforcement across the city to improve road safety and efficiency, as several changes were approved at committee 
Drivers breaching parking rules for yellow lines, paid-for parking bays and School Streets Zones will now face £100 fines (reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days) in line with Transport Scotland updated guidance.
Observation periods are also reducing, and we’re also working on pavement parking enforcement for later this year.
