CHILDREN’S HEALTH: Get involved in developing an App for Wheeze

By Lucy Ashton

Are you a parent or carer for a child with wheeze? Wheeze is a whistling sound from the chest which is mainly heard on breathing out and can be worse when your child has a cough, cold or chest infection. A group of staff based at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow are developing an App that could help manage the health of children with wheeze and they want your help.

If you are a parent or carer or look after someone under 16 years of age with wheeze, help us by filling in a short questionnaire and tell us what you think should be included in the App and what is important to you:  https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/0C8553D73D6B11C2

All responses will be anonymous, but we will be looking for interested people to share their details if they want to be more involved later on.

It would be great to hear from you by Friday 7 April 2023, but if you need more time please get in touch with the team. Similarly, if you have any issues accessing the form, please get in touch with the PEPI team at: public.involvement@ggc.scot.nhs.uk.
