PROVOST THROWS A THANK YOU PARTY FOR OK FOOD PARCELS

Provost Douglas McAllister hosted a Civic Reception at Clydebank Town Hall this past weekend in honour of Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels and the fantastic achievements they have made in the community.
Set up during the pandemic in 2020 so they could ensure vulnerable residents got their prescriptions, Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels soon expanded to providing food packages to those in need. More recently they reacted to the ongoing Cost of Living crisis by evolving to include a local warm hub which offered locals a space to stay warm and cosy during the colder months. The Provost told them: “Well done on all your amazing work!”
