A late equaliser prevented Dumbarton from picking up three points for the second week running.
A penalty from Tony Wallace had Sons ahead but Jamie Dishington equalised for Spartans in the 89th minute.
Both sides now have two points with two games played after picking up 1-1 draws in consecutive weeks.
Sons are back in action on Wednesday against Kilmarnock B in the SPFL Trust Trophy before Forfar Athletic visit G82 on league duty on Saturday.
