Well over 100 community residents and trade union members turned out tonight for the vigil for Balloch Library……

The power of people United behind a common purpose is unshakable as at the very last minute £80 was raised for the local community Foodshare and a few bags of essential supplies were donated by those present

What a wonderful and kind gesture from the community – assisting another very valuable organisation in our area

This grassroots campaign is really developing, people are passionate and motivated – we were told again tonight;

“Local councillors, don’t come and ask us what’s the best cut to make – come to us with the plan of how your going to save our services and establishments”
