GREAT NEWS FROM MARY’S MEALS IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

We have incredible news! From today until 22 January 2024, every donation made to our Double The Love appeal will be matched, up to £1 million.

Thanks to a group of generous supporters, your kindness will go even further. The impacts of rising costs, climate change and conflict have brought fear and uncertainty to many children and right now our life-changing school meals have never been more important.

Together, through Double The Love, we can transform the lives of many more desperately hungry children waiting for Mary’s Meals.

Two is company

Fanta, 15, and Jebbah, 14, are best friends who met when they started to attend Quadafi School in Liberia. The girls are in sixth grade and are inseparable both in and outside of school. They dream of becoming doctors and helping people in their community, inspired by their mothers, both of whom are nurses.

Every day, the girls walk for an hour to school on an empty stomach. When they arrive, they often feel tired because of the long distance they have walked. But after eating Mary’s Meals, the girls have the energy to learn and enjoy school.

Thanks to the kindness of people like you, Fanta and Jebbah are able to gain an education and work toward their dreams of a brighter future.
