We are at the Scottish Police Federation awards at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh where we are celebrating bravery, Courage, and highlighting officers whose passion and extraordinary commitment to public service is being recognition by colleagues.
There are 20 nominated finalists from across Scotland at this evenings event spanning numerous categories.
We are delighted that PC Laura Evans from Argyll & West Dunbartonshire Division has been selected as a finalist in the ‘Community Commitment’ category.
Laura’s crime prevention work across Argyll has been inspiring and spends many hours travelling to the most rural locations to ensure all our communities benefit from vital safety advice. Among her many achievements was the introduction of the Dementia safe guarding tag which has since gone viral and is being rolled out across Scotland and beyond.
We hope Laura and her family enjoyed the evening and we congratulate and celebrate this recognition for local policing.
