James Clacher was last seen about 17 months ago – with his car being found in Loch Longside car park

People have warned the public not to approach a hiker who went missing 17 months ago as police continue to search for him.
James Clacher, from Bellshill in North Lanarkshire, was last seen in Airdrie at about 4pm on Monday, May 30, 2022.
His car, a Suzuki Swift, was found more than 50 miles away a day later at Loch Long car park in Arrochar, Argyll and Bute.
Police said the 55-year-old may have also travelled through the Tyndrum area at the time of his disappearance.
